We met Mr. Vitto when our Quintuplets were born in 2002. As they prepared to attend kindergarten, John was instrumental in helping us determine which of our children would require special education services in the Canfield School District. Our two sons were diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. John helped us navigate the IEP and classroom challenges from Kindergarten through High School. His empathy and willingness to guide us through their educational journey have proven to make them wildly successful. He was able to provide them with a diversified program and a person-centered IEP that enabled them to attend inclusion classes alongside their peers. We had some tough and challenging times with our sons and their behavior. He was willing to listen, be understanding, and guide us on how to help the boys through their challenges. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Vitto. He has the knowledge and skills to help special needs individuals inside and outside of the classroom.

As a school administrator and special education director, I had the privilege to work with John in multiple collegial capacities over an eight-year period. I found him to be deeply knowledgeable about students, their needs, and the methods and strategies necessary to best serve them. John was also instrumental in supporting the growth and development of my son throughout the entirety of his K-12 educational experience. He took the time to learn about my child and his needs but most importantly, his unique strengths and abilities. John's input and willingness to focus on the child first made him a valued partner and advocate in crafting an innovative and enagaging learning experience for my son.

What sets John apart is his ability to bridge research and data with practice in a way that feels practical, compassionate, and impactful for both the school district and its families. He listens closely, asks the right questions to deeply understand the culture of the school and its community, and ensures that every solution keeps student needs at the forefront. Whether it's strengthening school-wide services, collaborating with educators, or guiding families through difficult decisions, John brings clarity, empathy, and proven strategies that make a lasting difference. John has an unwavering dedication to student success, and it shows in everything he does.
